The feathered wedding bouquet was created by Carrie and Shannon in 2004. While planning the details of Carrie’s autumn wedding they realized there were no alternatives to the standard fresh flower bouquets! Having backgrounds in fashion and interior design, the girls needed options! Especially ones that could satisfy their couture design sensibilities. Their mission became to create a fashion forward, unique and fabulous alternative that would also be an everlasting memento to cherish forever.  oKay? So, after arranging lots of elegant feathers, gorgeous preserved flora, luxurious ribbons and a bit (or a lot) of sparkle…. success! Actually, they were the most fantastically fabulous bouquets the two had ever seen! “Besides my wonderful husband, my wedding bouquet will forever be my most favorite thing about my whole wedding! I absolutely love it still.” says Carrie. Together, Carrie and Shannon knew other brides would appreciate having an alternative to fresh flowers too. ( Especially not the cheap crafty looking kind.) Emplume™ was lauched just 6 months later in the spring of 2005 and the rest is history!
